New Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework resource
The Brotherhood of St Laurence Family Day Care scheme in Victoria has officially launched a new resource titled Figuring out the Framework, a visual response to the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.
The resource aims to assist early childhood professionals with the implementation of the new Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and the National Childcare Accreditation Council (NCAC) Quality Practices Guide.
Family Day Care Australia CEO, Rhonda Bignell, was in attendance at the launch, which was held in Melbourne on March 31 and attended by key family day care stakeholders and federal and state government representatives.
‘This resource is a fantastic tool to assist carers during this exciting time of change,’ Rhonda said. She believes the Victorian family day care community has warmly welcomed The Family Day Care Five Year Plan, which was developed by the sector for the sector.
The Hon Kate Ellis, Minister for Minister for Early Childhood Education, Child Care and Youth, will officially launch the The Family Day Care Five Year Plan on 19 April 2010 in Adelaide.
Members of Family Day Care Australia will receive a copy of the Family Day Care Five Year Plan in CD form, with their next edition of JIGSAW.
